The Spencer Open Coil Mattress features a traditional firm open coil spring system. This is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs that are linked into one single unit using a spiral wire at the top and bottom.
A thick rod-edge wire is then fitted around the top and bottom of the spring unit. This provides edge to edge comfort across the full width of the sleeping surface; prevents border breakdown and ensures the mattress retains its shape.
Micro quilting involves sewing the outer cover to the surface fillings to create a smooth flatter finish. It also helps to prevent mattress upholstery movement.
It also features generous hypo-allergenic fillings that produce a comfortable, healthy sleeping environment for allergy sufferers.
The mattress is 27cm deep and it is skilfully upholstered in a durable micro quilted damask cover.
